i take an eternity to do anything

so i finally created it. i had grand ideas for a blog, but figured having one is better than having good ideas for one. so here's my cat blog. yes, i'm using a template. yes, i'm using blogger. yes, i am so incredibly generic. but aren't you glad you can see what i've been up to?

anyway, i'm here. i'll keep you posted with shayla life happenings. when i get a real site going with a real blog, i'll keep you posted on that too. for now...i have loads of pictures i need to post. i'll keep you posted on that post as i will most definitely post them soon. postity post post.

oh yeah - for those of you who i haven't talked to since i've been out here, this is the quick update:

1. i live on the corner of haight and ashbury. there are a few hippies around here. *sarcasm*
2. i am still unemployed. it sucks. if you think it would be wonderful to not have a job, you are delusional.
3. i have watched more tv since i've moved here than in the last 2 years combined. see number 2.
4. i have 4 roommates. they are all stoners. see number 3.
5. the weather here is insane. sunny & warm --> cloudy & cold can happen within a matter of minutes and quite unexpectedly.
6. i LOVE it here. everyone i've met is incredibly warm. there is good beer - yay! i drink it from time to time. i am also convinced that this is the most beautiful city in the states. i can't wait until i have some income so i can fully enjoy all this city has to offer. for those with no income - it has amazing green spaces and bay parks that keep you entertained for hours. beautiful.

i know the tone of this post is sort of "eh", but it's cloudy outside and that's what happens to my mood on cloudy days. next one will be more exciting, i promise.
